The injection-molded plastic kit Ju 88A-4 from the maker ICM in 1:48 scale captures the German multipurpose bomber of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit from the maker ICM brings one of the most important German bombers of the Second World War, the Junkers Ju 88 in the A-4 version, in 1:48 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model to be assembled and painted, with a well worked out pilot's compartment and a glazed nose of the fuselage.
The Ju 88A-4 was a multipurpose bomber powered by a pair of liquid-cooled Jumo 211J engines of higher output. It was built from the spring of 1941 and became one of the mainstays of the bomber units of the Luftwaffe. Thanks to its robust construction it served as a level bomber as well as a dive bomber, and in further roles on most theaters of war.
Join the plastic parts with a thin modeling cement and glue the glazing with a cement for clear parts. Finish the cockpit and the interior before the fuselage is closed. Use a primer before painting, apply the camouflage with an airbrush and mask the extensive glazing beforehand. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish and unify the surface with a matte clear varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
