This set is a detail accessory, not a standalone airplane model. It contains two 3D printed resin Kh-29L air-to-ground guided missiles with the AKU-58 ejector launcher in 1:48 scale. The parts are hung under the wing or the fuselage of a suitable plastic kit of a combat aircraft.
The Kh-29 (NATO code name AS-14 Kedge) is a Soviet, now Russian, heavy short-range air-to-ground guided missile with a massive warhead for use against hardened targets. The Kh-29L version uses semi-active laser guidance onto a target illuminated by a designator. It was carried by a number of aircraft of the Su and MiG families and was hung on the AKU-58 launcher.
Wash the uncured resin residue off the 3D resin parts, cut away the print supports and clean them up with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay on a primer and paint with an airbrush; finish the laser head and the markings from period photographs.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
