The real subject

Khibiny is a Russian electronic warfare system housed in aerodynamic pods. It jams hostile radars and guidance systems and protects the aircraft against guided missiles. On the Su-30SM it is typically carried on the wingtips.

Fitting tips

• Wash the print resin residue off the parts in lukewarm soapy water.
• Cut the parts from the print supports and clean up the surfaces.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Paint the fine antennas carefully with a thin brush once the pod is in place.
