Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German heavy tank Pz.Kpfw. VI Tiger II (King Tiger) with the Henschel (production) turret in 1:48 scale from Suyata. The key asset of the kit is the full interior: a modeled fighting compartment, the gun and the inside of the hull. The set is designed without the need for glue (the parts snap together), and it contains photo-etched parts and a decal imitation of Zimmerit. Check the exact contents of the box against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The Tiger II was the heaviest German tank in series service in the Second World War. It combined heavily sloped frontal armor with a long 88 mm gun that could destroy Allied tanks at long range. The production turret, the so-called Henschel turret, replaced the earlier rounded turret with its bulged front and became the most widespread variant. The vehicle was exceptionally tough but heavy, thirsty for fuel and unreliable in its drivetrain.
Even though the parts hold without glue, it is advisable to secure the joints with cyanoacrylate or modeling cement. Paint and highlight the interior before you close up the hull and the turret. Lay down a primer and the base coat before the decals; a surface with Zimmerit suits a strong wash and a dry brush, and the weathering can be completed with pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
