Trumpeter MiG-27 Flogger D 1:48 is a plastic kit of the Soviet attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet MiG-27 attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. The model captures the characteristic Flogger D version with a sloped nose cover and a modified intake for low-level work. The package contains parts in gray plastic, clear parts and a decal sheet.
The MiG-27 was a Soviet single-seat attack aircraft derived from the MiG-23 fighter. It had a variable-geometry wing and was optimized for fast flight at low altitude and attacks on ground targets. Instead of a radar for air combat it carried equipment for the precise attack of ground targets and a six-barrel 30 mm cannon. It served from the 1970s with the Soviet Air Force and others.
Glue with liquid cement for plastic and fill the gaps with filler. We recommend painting the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. The model comes out well with a primer underneath and an airbrushed finish; lay a gloss coat under the decals and unify the surface with a flat coat once finished.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
