The set contains main wheels with the characteristic block tread pattern and a matching tailwheel for models of the fighter P-40N Warhawk. The resin castings have an accurately rendered tread pattern and hub detail that is usually missing on plastic parts.
The wheels are an ideal quick upgrade for the landing gear, since they fit precisely in place of the original plastic parts. The tread pattern stands out nicely after shading and a light dusting of pigments, which give the wheels a worn look.
First separate the parts from the casting stubs and clean them up. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; we recommend a primer coat before the final paint on the tires and hubs.
