FN Herstal is a Belgian maker of weapon systems. Its underwing pods with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun are carried beneath the wings of light attack and training aircraft, among them the armed versions of the Pilatus PC-9. The pod gives the machine a gun capability for training attacks on ground targets and for light combat duty.
Wash the castings to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
