This is a small resin accessory, not an airplane model. The set from MH Models holds five pieces of miniature pilot's headphones with a microphone in 1:48 scale. It serves to bring a cockpit interior to life or to complete a scene, for instance of crew gear set aside.
Aviation headphones with a headset microphone are a typical part of the equipment of pilots of light and sports airplanes. They allow contact with the tower as well as communication between crew members, and in miniature they are among the details that add credibility to a cockpit.
Carefully separate the small parts from the casting blocks and wash the mold release agent off them. Given their size, work with tweezers and good light. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The headphones come to life once painted in a dark shade and the edges are lightly brought out with a dry brush.
This is an accessory for more experienced modelers. It is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
