The Piper L-4 Cub was the military variant of the popular light civilian Piper Cub. During the Second World War it served for observation, for artillery spotting, for liaison and for courier duties. It was a simple high-wing aircraft with fixed landing gear and a glazed cockpit, valued for its ability to take off and land on short and improvised strips.
Clean up the small parts and the struts with particular care. Mask the glazed cockpit and glue it with cement for clear parts, so that it does not cloud. The typical olive military color sits better over a base coat; an airbrush and fine weathering are what works. Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
