It is an accessory that requires the base kit of the same type — the set itself contains no plastic parts. The masks are die-cut in advance and serve for masking areas precisely and cleanly when paint is sprayed.
Painting masks help to separate fields of color sharply and to protect the canopy glazing and other areas from overspray. Thanks to precisely shaped masks you get clean edges without laboriously cutting tape and you reduce the risk of paint creeping under the edge. The set is intended for the particular PZL M-18 Dromader model in this scale.
Before applying the masks, let the previous coat of paint or clear coat dry thoroughly and degrease the surface. Transfer the masks carefully to the right places, press the edges down (with a toothpick, for example) so that paint cannot creep in, and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. Once the paint has dried, remove the masks in good time and gently. Check the exact number and coverage of the masks on the packaging.
