This resin and 3D-printed set contains four R-27 guided air-to-air missiles in the P and T versions. It is NOT an airplane model but an accessory for the external stores of plastic kits. R-27 missiles were carried by Soviet and Russian fighters such as the MiG-29 and the Su-27 to Su-35 family. The set is intended for more experienced modelers.
The R-27 is a Soviet medium-range guided air-to-air missile. It was produced in versions with different seeker heads, among them a passive radar homing variant and an infrared one. It is used to destroy airborne targets at medium range.
Cut the parts from the casting blocks, wash off any mold release agent and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding. The fins and the seeker in the nose stand out after shading and a light patina.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
