A photo-etched sheet from the British maker Airscale in 1:48 scale. It offers a wide range of cockpit instrument bezels with which the decal dials are framed and a three-dimensional, realistic look of the instrument panel is achieved. It covers British (Royal Air Force), German and American styles and a range of periods. It is not a model or a kit but a detailed photo-etched set.
The sheet contains single, double and triple bezels with fine relief for the fixing screws and knobs, in various diameters according to the construction of the instrument. The bezels are conceived universally, so they can be adapted to practically any cockpit. They go ideally with the instrument decal sets from the same maker.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface and smooth the edge if needed. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) in a small amount. The bezels can be painted before the decals are applied; evening the finished panel out with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat is recommended.
This is a stand-alone photo-etched accessory. The model of the aircraft itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
