1:48 RAF WWII Instruments Dial Decals

RAF WWII instrument dial decals 1:48 (Airscale)

This is a set of decals, not a model. The sheet offers color, finely drawn dials of the instruments common in British RAF aircraft of the Second World War period. The decals serve to finish the instrument panel and the cockpit faithfully in 1:48 scale.

What the set contains

• Color decals of instrument dials for the controls, navigation, the engine and other systems
• Subjects common to most RAF types, for example the Spitfire, the Hurricane or the Mosquito
• Each instrument separately with a minimum of carrier film
• A small sheet of clear film to imitate the instrument glasses

Use

The decals are applied to the instrument panel in the usual way; a decal softener improves how they settle. The individual dials are small, so tweezers and a sharp knife are a help. A well-chosen base coat lets the instruments stand out.

Who the set is for

For modelers of British aircraft of the Second World War in 1:48 scale who want a realistic instrument panel without painting the dials laboriously by hand.

This is an accessory (decals), not a complete model. The kit is not included in the package.
