This is a cockpit accessory, not an aircraft model. The package contains a pilot's seat for the Messerschmitt Bf 109E in 1:48 scale made by direct 3D printing, including seat belts printed directly into the part. The target kit is the Bf 109E from Eduard. The main advantage lies precisely in the belts: printed belts have a realistic sag and fall naturally over the edge of the shell, so the laborious shaping of photo-etched metal belts and the gluing of paper ones fall away. The seat is thin-walled at the same time, because 3D printing manages a material thickness that an injection mold cannot.
For modelers who want a faithful cockpit in their Emil in 1:48 without the lengthy bending of photo-etched belts. The printed belts look realistic even under an open canopy and are rewarding when photographing a finished model.
This is an accessory, not a model. The basic kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
