This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory to be fitted into the cockpit of the plastic Spitfire Mk.IXe model in 1:48 scale. The LooK line combines a 3D-printed instrument panel rendered in full color with pre-printed instruments and photo-etched steel seat belts.
The Airfix kit serves as the basis; it is bought separately.
The color panel replaces the plastic or photo-etched part of the base model and calls for no laborious hand painting of the instruments. The steel belts can be shaped into a natural fold, so that they read as fabric. Cut the parts from the carriers with a sharp knife and bond them with super glue.
This is an accessory to be fitted into a separately sold kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
