It is intended for the types on which this missile appears: the Tornado, F-15, F/A-18, Gripen and Eurofighter. The 1:48 scale is the most widespread one for modern combat aircraft, so the set will find use across a wide range of models.
The TAURUS KEPD 350 is a German-Swedish cruise missile intended to destroy heavily protected ground targets from beyond the reach of air defenses. After release it flies on its own at low altitude and follows the terrain, so the defenses catch it only with difficulty. You will recognize it by its angular body with flat sides and by the flying surfaces, which unfold only in flight. It entered service with European users of the Tornado and gradually with other modern platforms as well.
In 1:48 scale the edges and surfaces of the missile are small, so degrease the parts before painting and apply a thin coat of primer. Spray the opaque shade in several light coats so that the fine surface detail does not get filled in. Try the attachment to the pylon dry and only then fix the joint; cyanoacrylate glue holds even between dissimilar surfaces. Fit the missiles to the model at the very end, once the painting and weathering of the airframe are finished.
