Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks from the maker 1 Man Army for spraying the identification letters and numerals of the US Army Air Forces of the period of the Second World War. The masks are cut from quality masking tape, they hold the shape of the characters accurately and they make it possible to achieve a sharp painted look without the use of decals. This variant covers a character size of 24 inches converted to 1:48 scale.
On USAAF aircraft, letters and numbers served to mark the fuselage, the wings and the serial numbers. Sprayed markings look more faithful than a decal, they have no glossy carrier film and there is no risk of silvering. The set is of the generic type, so you put the characters together according to the particular machine you are building.
These are painting masks, neither paint nor decals. Paints and tools are not included in the package.
