The limited edition Eduard WILDE SAU Episode Three: Until the Fall of the Empire in 1:48 scale is a double set (Dual Combo) for building two German fighters, the Fw 190A-8 and the Fw 190D-9.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in a limited edition from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. As a Dual Combo it contains the parts for building two complete models of German fighters of the Second World War – the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-8 and the Fw 190D-9. Eduard limited edition boxings are as a rule completed by colored photo-etched parts, painting masks and a rich choice of marking options; for the exact contents follow the instructions in the box.
The Fw 190 was among the highest performing German fighters of the war. The A-8 version was a heavily armed production variant with a radial engine, while the D-9, nicknamed the Dora, received an inverted V12 engine and a lengthened fuselage with better high-altitude performance. The edition concentrates on machines connected with the Wilde Sau night defense tactics, in which day fighters attacked bombers over targets lit by searchlights and fires, without the help of onboard radar.
Cut the parts from the sprues and clean them up. Use a thin modeling cement on the plastic, apply a primer before varnishing and spray the colors with an airbrush. The colored photo-etched parts and masks markedly speed up a detailed cockpit and the framing of the glazing. Prepare a gloss coat under the decals and flatten the surface after applying them to suit the look you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
