Wooden crates, 1:48 is a resin set of wooden transport crates for dioramas and supply scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from Firma49 brings wooden transport crates with a faithful plank texture in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a diorama accessory for bringing supply scenes, depots and vehicle beds to life.
Wooden crates were used to move ammunition, food and spare parts, and they belong among the universal elements of military and civilian scenes. Stacked piles of them give a diorama scale and realism.
Separate the castings from the casting blocks and wash off the mold release agent. Over a brown base, an oil rendering of the grain and a dry brush will give the wood a convincing look; markings can be added with a decal.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and other parts are not included in the package.
