A premium multimedia kit in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer HpH Models. The main fuselage parts are fiberglass, the details are resin, and the set is completed by metal reinforcements, photo-etched parts, clear parts, decals, painting masks and fabric seat belts. It is a very demanding project for master builders and collectors; thanks to the size of the subject, the finished model is exceptionally large. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The North American XB-70 Valkyrie was an American experimental bomber of the 1960s capable of flying at about three times the speed of sound at high altitude. Only two prototypes were built and they served mainly for research into high-speed flight. Characteristic features are the slender canard configuration, the folding wingtips and the six jet engines.
First wash the mold release agent off the fiberglass and resin parts, clean up the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or with epoxy; fit the large parts together dry and reinforce them if necessary. Light metal schemes call for a perfectly smooth base, a quality primer and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin (fiberglass) kit for the experienced. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
