This injection-molded plastic kit from Trumpeter in 1:48 scale captures the Chinese armed helicopter Harbin Z-9G. The box contains clear parts and a decal sheet; the model makes it possible to build the machine with underwing stores.
The Z-9 is a Chinese helicopter built by Harbin, derived from the French AS365 Dauphin 2 type. The armed Z-9G version is intended to support ground forces and can carry anti-tank guided missiles, unguided rockets and gun armament. The machine serves with the Chinese armed forces as a light combat and multirole helicopter.
Finish and paint the cockpit before you close up the fuselage. Assemble the underwing stores and the pylons according to the instructions and paint them separately. Apply the paint with an airbrush over a primer; bring out the panel lines and the weapons with a fine wash and glue the clear parts with canopy glue.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
