A plastic kit of the British Cromwell Mk. IV cruiser tank by Italeri in 1:56 scale. The model is laid out for easy assembly, so it goes together quickly and suits players of 28 mm tabletop wargames as well as collectors of Allied vehicles. Its sturdy construction without small fragile parts stands up to ordinary handling on a gaming table.
The Cromwell was one of the fastest British tanks of the Second World War; thanks to its powerful engine it reached speeds of over 60 km/h and stood out for its agility. It was the first British tank to combine the dual-purpose QF 75 mm gun (against infantry and tanks alike) with high speed and reasonable armor. It was committed above all from the Normandy landings in 1944 with reconnaissance and fast units.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and sand the joints. Assemble and paint the running gear before the hull is closed up. The British khaki shade is brought to life by a base coat of primer, gentle shading and weathering with washes and pigments that pick out the details of the cast and welded armor.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
