This set holds precisely die-cut painting masks intended for the canopy of a model of the popular X-wing starfighter in 1:57 scale. The masks cover the clear areas and make it possible to spray the glazing framing sharply without the slow business of laying down strips by hand. The set is designed for the Revell kit.
The film of the masks follows the shape of the canopy well and comes off easily once the spraying is finished. The result is clean edges and a faithful look to the canopy with no paint creeping under.
Apply the masks to a clean, dry surface, press the edges down well and lay the paint on in thin coats so that it cannot creep under the film.
