The Ferrari 296 GTB is a two-seat berlinetta with a mid-mounted engine. It is interesting above all for something Maranello long did not boast about: instead of an eight-cylinder it was given a force-fed six-cylinder in a V of just under three liters, to which an electric motor is connected. The car can therefore cover a stretch of road without the combustion part as well, and under full pull the two parts add together. In shape the 296 GTB returns to the rounder lines of the older berlinettas, with a drawn-in rear and a pronounced cut above the rear wheels. The blue Blu Corsa shade is among the colors that appear on Ferraris less often than the classic red, and that is exactly why it draws attention to itself.
The model is a finished collector's item in 1:64. A car roughly 4.5 meters long comes out of it at seven centimeters, so it suits a row with other cars of the same scale.
The model comes out best in a display case or on a shelf where direct sunlight does not fall on it. Sweep dust off with a soft brush and wipe fingerprints off with a dry microfiber cloth. Solvents, window cleaners and a damp rag do not belong near the model; both the paint and the fine printing would suffer from them.
For collectors of modern sports cars in 1:64 and for anyone looking for a small gift for a fan of the marque. A display case and a base are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
