Responsibility details are not available.
The Shelby GT500 of 1968 is an American sports car built on the basis of the Ford Mustang and modified by Carroll Shelby's shop. It was powered by a large-displacement V8 engine and differed from the production Mustang in a reworked front and rear end and in a hood with scoops. It belongs among the cars that gave shape to a whole era of American road sports cars, and among modelers it is a fixture, because its shape stands up both to a glossy display build and to a treatment with a fully rendered engine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and the parts are plastic. The extent of the parts, the color scheme offered and which parts of the car are separately rendered are given by the manufacturer's instructions and by the box.
Separate the parts with nippers and sand the cut place down. Wash and degrease the body before spraying, as with gloss paints every greasy fingerprint shows up in the finish. Apply the paint in several thin coats, let the last gloss coat cure properly and only then polish. Assemble and paint the interior and the engine bay before you close the body, after which you can no longer get inside with a brush.
Paints, varnishes, glue and tools are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
