This is a resin, 3D printed accessory from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, not an airplane kit. The package contains one auxiliary fuel tank of 275 gallons meant for the light fighters and trainers F-5E/F/N, F-20 and AT-3 in 1:72 scale. The part has a smooth surface, fine dividing lines and a faithful shape of the mounting.
Drop tanks extend the range of an aircraft and are carried on a fuselage or underwing pylon. The Northrop F-5 Tiger II, its successor the F-20 Tigershark and the AT-3 trainer are light supersonic machines on which an external tank belongs to the usual configuration.
Separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and wash it free of print resin residue. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Paint the tank according to the scheme of the aircraft and match the shade to the airframe; pick out the seams and the mounting with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
