That pays off on large smooth bodies: the part has no parting lines that would have to be laboriously sanded on a rounded surface, and it holds the sharp edges of the stabilizing fins.
The F-15 is an American twin-engined combat aircraft. For longer-range flights it carries auxiliary fuel tanks on the centerline and underwing pylons, and a tank of 610 gallons is among the usual equipment of machines of this family. Aircraft are photographed with one tank as well as with two or three, so you choose the configuration from a photograph yourself; the set is supplied as a single piece.
Cut the part from the supports with a sharp knife, wet sand the marks they leave with fine paper and polish the surface, because on a plain rounded body every scratch shows. Apply a primer and only then the paint.
