This resin set of replacement wheels from the Czech maker Plusmodel is intended for models of the A-26B Invader attack bomber in 1:72 scale. It replaces the wheels from the standard kit with castings with a finer tread and hub and it is usually supplied with a self-adhesive mask that makes painting the tires easier.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack bomber from the end of the Second World War, which remained in active service through the Korean War and the Vietnam War as well. The A-26B version carried heavy fixed gun armament in the nose.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. With resin wheels take care to orient the flattened contact surface of the tire correctly toward the ground. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
