An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat Eurofighter Typhoon in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. It is a special edition with the fictional finish of the UPEO organization from the popular computer game Ace Combat, so it is a game scheme, not a real operational one. The package holds good-quality plastic parts, an elaborate cockpit, clear parts, a display stand and a special decal sheet with the game markings.
The Eurofighter Typhoon is a modern European multirole supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing and canard foreplanes. The model is based on the real appearance of the aircraft, but it carries the invented finish and markings of the UPEO peacekeeping organization from the world of the Ace Combat game series. This scheme is purely fictional and does not exist in the ordinary service of any air force; it will be appreciated by players and collectors.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the seams. Assemble and paint the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. Spray the surface with a primer and apply the colors with an airbrush, and bring out the panel lines with a fine wash. Apply the extensive game decals patiently onto a gloss varnish so that they adhere well, and place the finished model on the enclosed stand.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
