L-29 Delfin air brake 1:72, closed, late version is a 3D-printed detail accessory, not an airplane model. It replaces the inset brake panels in the retracted state on a production 1:72 model of the Delfin. Target kit: AMK.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed detail accessory intended to improve a plastic model of the Aero L-29 Delfin trainer in 1:72 scale. The set contains the air brake in the closed position in the form corresponding to the late production version. It is not an airplane model but a replacement part that refines the shape and the fit of the brake panels compared with the part from the box. The part is shaped for the AMK kit.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was a jet trainer produced by Aero Vodochody and the standard type for pilot training in the Warsaw Pact states. The air brakes on the sides of the fuselage served to increase drag and to reduce speed in a controlled way during the approach and in maneuvers.
Carefully separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and glue it on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before painting we recommend washing the surface and applying a filler primer. The closed position suits an aircraft standing on the ramp or in flight.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and the target kit are not included in the package.
