L-29 Delfin airbrake 1:72 – open, early version is a 3D-printed detail accessory. It shows the extended brake panels on the production 1:72 Delfin model and brings a diorama or an apron scene to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This 3D-printed detail accessory is intended to improve the plastic model of the Aero L-29 Delfin trainer in 1:72 scale. It contains the airbrake in the extended (open) position in the configuration matching the early production version. It is not an airplane model but a replacement part that lets you show the brakes in action.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was a jet trainer from Aero Vodochody and the standard training type of the Warsaw Pact states. The extended airbrakes on the sides of the fuselage increased drag and were used during the approach and in maneuvering.
Separate the part from the print supports, clean it up and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wash the surface and apply a primer before varnishing. The open position comes into its own on an aircraft on the parking apron or in a diorama scene.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. Glue, paints and the target kit are not included in the package.
