The set contains four 3D printed resin AIM-4 Super Falcon guided air-to-air missiles in the F and G versions, in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory for plastic kits of F-106 models that refines the external stores.
The AIM-4 Super Falcon was an American guided air-to-air missile of the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. The F version had semi-active radar guidance and the G version an infrared seeker; the two missiles complemented each other. They were carried above all by the F-106 interceptor, on which they were housed in the internal weapons bay. The set faithfully captures their shape.
Wash the parts free of any uncured resin, cut away the 3D print supports and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer, paint with an airbrush and pick out the fine edges with washes.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
