Eduard 1:72 AIM-7M Sparrow (3D-Printed) is a set of 3D printed air-to-air guided missiles in 1:72 scale. It is a detail armament accessory, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail set from Eduard with AIM-7M Sparrow air-to-air guided missiles in 1:72 scale, made by direct 3D printing. That allows an exceptionally fine rendition of the stabilizing and control surfaces and a clean surface without the casting blocks typical of conventional resin. The set serves to complete the underwing armament of fighter aircraft realistically. It is not an airplane model but an armament accessory.
The AIM-7 Sparrow is an American semi-active radar homing medium-range air-to-air missile. The AIM-7M version with improved guidance served from the 1980s on fighters such as the F-15, the F-16 and the F/A-18. In the small 1:72 scale the accuracy of 3D printing stands out.
Cut the 3D printed parts off the thin supports with a sharp knife, sand the surfaces down gently and bond them with super glue. Spray the body of the missiles; the small markings are usually handled by the enclosed decals. Take care to seat them symmetrically in the pylons.
This is a detail armament accessory in 1:72 scale; the airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
