The set contains four 3D-printed resin AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles in 1:72 scale from Reskit. This is a super-detailing accessory, not a stand-alone aircraft model. The parts faithfully capture the characteristic shapes of the most modern Sidewinder version.
The AIM-9X is the newest generation of the American short-range infrared air-to-air missile. It features a highly sensitive imaging seeker head and thrust-vectoring control, which give it exceptional agility. It is carried by modern fourth- and fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
Wash the parts, carefully separate them from the support structures and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection when sanding. The missiles are fitted onto wingtip or underwing pylons, the joints are filled and then sprayed. Paints, decals and pylons are not included in the package.
