Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 from the Ukrainian brand Amodel captures the Soviet twin-engine Antonov An-26 transport aircraft in the special RR, RT and Z versions. The package contains plastic sprues including clear parts and a decal sheet. It is a short-run kit, with which it is a good idea to count on careful cleaning up of the parts.
The Antonov An-26 is a twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft with a ramp in the rear of the fuselage, derived from the An-24 type. It came about in the 1960s and became one of the most widespread tactical transport aircraft of the Eastern Bloc. Besides carrying cargo and paratroops it served in a whole range of special conversions for reconnaissance and communication, among which are the versions captured in this set.
With a short-run kit, cut the parts off with a margin and clean them up with a file, and keep trying the fit as you go. Mask the glazing of the pilot cabin. Finish the interior of the cargo hold before closing the fuselage. Spray the base with an airbrush and lay the decals on a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
