B-25 Mitchell flaps (1:72) is a resin set for showing lowered wing flaps on the model of this American bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin set from the Czech maker Plusmodel lets you show lowered flaps on a model of the B-25 Mitchell bomber in 1:72 scale. It replaces part of the wing with fine castings with faithfully suggested internal structure and gives the model a more dynamic look in the takeoff or landing phase.
The North American B-25 Mitchell was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War, famous among other things for the raid on Tokyo from the deck of an aircraft carrier. It served on every front in many modifications, from classic bombing to attack versions with heavy gun armament.
Before fitting, the original plastic flap surface has to be cut away from the wing. Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding and set the flaps at the matching angle.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. The airplane itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
