Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the British three-ton Bedford truck in its Fire Tender version, in 1:72 scale from IBG. This is a specialized fire and rescue vehicle with 4x4 drive on the Bedford QL chassis, different from the ordinary flatbed. The box contains decals with period markings, for example for Caen 1944.
The Bedford QL was one of the most widely used British three-ton trucks of the Second World War and was built in many specialized versions. The Fire Tender form served as a fire and rescue vehicle, typically at airfields and military installations where fires had to be dealt with quickly. It therefore carries a different body from the transport versions.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the chassis, the axles, the cab and the specialized body before you close the assembly up. Lay down a primer before the color coats; an airbrush is ideal. British vehicles suit khaki green (SCC); tune the weathering with washes in the pressed detail and dust pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
