1:72 Bf-109F-2 late air intake is a resin set of the late supercharger air intake for a model of the Bf 109F-2 fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory set of the supercharger air intake for a model of the German Bf 109 fighter in the F-2 version, in its late form, in 1:72. It is not a model of the aircraft but a replacement part. The air intake on the left side of the cowling is one of the features by which the individual subversions of the Bf 109 are told apart, and its shape and size changed during production.
Cut the parts off the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the cut surface. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Try the mating surface on the cowling dry first and sand it if need be, so that the part does not overhang. Blacken the inside of the mouth, and the empty duct will then look deeper. The engine of the Bf 109F was an inverted V12, so the cowling has its typically slim upper outline.
The set contains only the air intake. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
