Responsibility details are not available.
An unassembled plastic kit of the British trainer Boulton Paul Balliol in 1:72 scale. The model is intended for gluing and painting and will appeal above all to enthusiasts of postwar British aircraft.
The Balliol was a British two-seat advanced trainer of the late 1940s, intended to replace the wartime Harvard trainers in the RAF. In its main production version it was powered by the famous Rolls-Royce Merlin piston engine, and the Balliol thus entered history as the last British aircraft powered by this legendary engine and at the same time as the last piston advanced trainer with the RAF and with the Fleet Air Arm. It entered service around 1950; a naval variant for aircraft carrier decks with folding wings and an arrestor hook was also built.
Cut the parts from the sprues with nippers rather than anything else and clean the surfaces up with a file. Glue with a thin modeling cement for plastic, which welds the joints by softening them. Apply a primer before painting, and an airbrush will then even out the covered surfaces. Take care over the cleanliness of the clear cockpit parts and seal the decals with a clear coat. Check the period colors and markings of the specific machine you want to build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
