An injection-molded plastic kit of the British main battle tank Challenger 1 in its desert form. The set holds parts in gray plastic, flexible tracks and decals; the model is built and painted.
The Challenger 1 was the main battle tank of the British Army from the beginning of the 1980s. It carried a 120 mm rifled gun and Chobham armor. In its desert form it made its name in the Persian Gulf, where the vehicles received sand camouflage and additional equipment.
Finish the running gear before closing up the hull. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic, spray a base coat and lay the desert shade with an airbrush. Dust pigments and a fine wash will bring out the running gear and the breakdown of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
