The ChTZ S-65 Stalinets was an improved design based on the S-60, which it replaced in production in 1937. It was powered by a diesel engine producing around 65 horsepower. By 1941, it was the most widely used tracked artillery tractor in the Red Army, towing heavy guns and also serving engineering and logistics tasks.
In 1:72 scale, work with the small parts carefully using tweezers. Assemble and paint the running gear and tracks before finishing the hull. Glue the parts with thin plastic cement. Soviet hardware carried a uniform green finish — after the base coat, highlight the detail with a wash, and apply dust and mud effects with pigments on the running gear and underside; the tractor can take heavy signs of field use.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
