The Aber British Napoleonic 6-pounder gun 1:72 is a demanding metal and photo-etched kit of an artillery piece from the period of the Napoleonic Wars.
Responsibility details are not available.
A multimedia metal and photo-etched kit from the Polish brand Aber in 1:72 scale. It is not a plastic model, nor an accessory for another kit, but a stand-alone, demanding set of fine photo-etched and metal parts from which you assemble a British 6-pounder field gun of the Napoleonic era. It is intended for experienced modelers.
The British 6-pounder gun was one of the typical field guns of the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, and the British army deployed it widely during the Napoleonic Wars. It was mobile horse-drawn artillery, used for direct fire against infantry and cavalry alike.
Take the photo-etched parts carefully out of the fret, bend them on a bending tool and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Give the small parts a base coat of primer and finish the wood and metal surfaces with shades and a fine patina. Sand the metal with respiratory protection.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
