Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the French light fighter Caudron CR.714 in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand RS Models. The package holds gray injection-molded parts, a clear cockpit part and a decal sheet with five camouflage options, which leaves plenty of room for choosing an attractive finish.
The Caudron CR.714 Cyclone was a small wooden fighter of the late 1930s, developed from the fast Caudron racers. It was conceived as a light complement to the main French fighters. It took part in the fighting of 1940 only to a limited extent; best known is its use by Polish pilots fighting in France. Despite its weaker performance and light armament it makes an interesting and fairly rare subject from the French Air Force of the early war.
Expect the properties of a short-run mold: dry-fitting the parts, cleaning up the sprue gates and filling the gaps with putty. Apply a primer before painting. The French three-color camouflage comes out well when sprayed with an airbrush with soft transitions; sharp demarcations can be handled with masking. Pick out the engraved detail with a fine wash of the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
