A short-run plastic kit of the Avia Ba.122 (RS models) in 1:72 scale - the Czechoslovak aerobatic and training biplane of the thirties.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a Czechoslovak biplane in 1:72 scale from RS models. It is a short-run kit intended for more experienced modelers, supplemented by a photo-etched fret and film instruments. The box contains plastic parts with fine panel lines and a suggestion of fabric covering, a simply arranged cockpit, an injection-molded windscreen and decals for several marking options. The Ba.122 is a type of its own and should not be confused with the B-534 fighter biplane of the same make.
The Avia Ba.122 was a single-seat aerobatic and training biplane developed in Czechoslovakia in the middle of the thirties, nicknamed Vosa. It stood out for its agility and its ability to fly inverted, thanks to which it found its place at air displays and in aerobatics. A few machines also reached military service. It was a different design from the later B-534 fighter series, although from the same Avia family.
Count on the short-run character: cut the parts off the sprues, clean them up and try them dry thoroughly before you glue anything. Glue the photo-etched parts and the small details with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The key step is the rigging, the bracing stretched between the wings, done with thin thread according to the enclosed diagram. We recommend primer and an airbrush; mask the small windscreen before painting and bring the fabric surfaces to life with fine shading.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
