Balloon wheels for the DHC-2 Beaver (Alaskan bushwheel 35x15x10) is a resin 3D-printed set of off-road tires in 1:72 scale for a model of this bush plane.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set from the Ukrainian manufacturer ResKit brings 3D-printed resin off-road wheels of the Alaskan bushwheel type in the 35x15x10 size for the DHC-2 Beaver. It is not an airplane model but a replacement for the landing gear wheels, thanks to which the machine takes on the look of a rugged bush plane for unpaved surfaces.
The de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is a legendary Canadian single-engine utility aircraft famous for operating from short, unpaved strips. In remote areas it is fitted with low-pressure Alaskan bushwheel balloon tires, which allow take-offs and landings from gravel, grass and tundra. The 35x15x10 size is among the large off-road tires.
In a small scale, work with particular care. Wash the print resin residue off the parts, separate them from the print supports and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray the tires a flat dark color and dust them lightly for the impression of operating off the beaten track.
This is an add-on wheel set, not a standalone model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the aircraft are not included in the package.
