A resin set of the engine for models of the DHC-4 Caribou in 1:72 scale. A demanding detail accessory with photo-etch; it is not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an extensive resin set of the engine for models of the de Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit of an aircraft but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers, which replaces the simple engine from the box with a faithful, richly broken-down casting. The package combines a large number of resin parts with photo-etched sheet.
The set makes it possible to build a detailed radial engine and the related sections of the nacelle. It pays off above all with the cowlings opened up, when the engine is visible; it brings a substantially higher level of detail than the production parts.
Because of the large number of small parts, experience with resin is desirable. Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the photo-etched sheets on a hard surface, wear respiratory protection while sanding and paint the engine section by section before the final assembly.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
