Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the Swiss fighter Doflug D-3802 in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand RS Models. The package holds gray injection-molded parts, a clear cockpit part and a decal sheet. It is a highly detailed short-run kit of a less usual subject, meant for more advanced modelers.
The Doflug D-3802 was a Swiss single-seat fighter developed at the close of the Second World War. It grew out of the earlier D-3801 type (the license-built Morane-Saulnier MS.406), but it was of all-metal stressed-skin construction and was powered by an engine derived from the French Hispano-Suiza 12Y. The prototype flew in 1944 and the first production machines were delivered after the war. Only a handful were completed, and they served the Swiss Air Force as an interim type. This rare subject represents the neutral Swiss Air Force of the period.
Expect the properties of a short-run mold: dry-fitting the parts, cleaning up the sprue gates and filling the gaps with putty. Apply a primer before painting. Swiss schemes with their bold national markings come out well once sprayed with an airbrush; lay the decals over a gloss varnish so that they do not silver. Pick out the engraved detail with a fine wash of the lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
