A plastic kit of the German multipurpose Dornier Do-27 in the H-2 version with a three-blade propeller, in 1:72 scale. It is a new kit from Special Hobby covering the more powerful variant of this popular short takeoff and landing aircraft.
The Dornier Do-27 was a single-engine high-wing aircraft famous for its ability to take off and land in a short distance on unprepared ground. It was used for liaison, observation, transport and civil purposes. The Do-27H-2 version received a more powerful engine and a three-blade propeller, and it also existed in a floatplane configuration.
As with any short-run kit, clean the parts up carefully and dry-fit them before gluing. Glue the plastic with modeling cement. Mask the large glazed cabin and paint it separately, so that the glazed character of the aircraft shows. An airbrush will handle the spraying and the small details can be finished by brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
