Reskit 1:72 EF-111 cockpit with 3D decals is a 3D-printed resin detail set that replaces the cockpit of a model of the EF-111 electronic warfare aircraft in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for advanced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed resin detail set from Reskit meant to swap the original cockpit for a finely detailed replica in 1:72 scale. The set holds 3D-printed parts of the cockpit and what are called 3D decals, which copy the instrument panels and the side consoles faithfully with a raised, three-dimensional relief. The set is meant for models of the two-seat EF-111.
The EF-111 was a dedicated electronic warfare machine derived from a tactical aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. It served to jam enemy radars and to protect strike packages. The roomy side-by-side cockpit for a crew of two is one of the features that brings the build of a model markedly to life.
First wash the print resin residue off the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water. Cut the print supports away with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply the 3D decals onto a smooth surface prepared with paint, as you would ordinary decals. We recommend an airbrush and soft shades of interior color.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
