This is an aftermarket detail set, not an aircraft model. The package holds one 3D-printed resin ESCAPAC 1C-3 ejection seat for a model of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft in 1:72 scale. Direct printing captures the fine texture of the seat, the harness straps and the firing handles, which brings the cockpit area strongly to life at a small scale.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was an American carrier-based attack aircraft that served for many decades with a number of the world's air arms. The Douglas ESCAPAC seat was typical equipment of the early versions. A faithful seat is one of the most visible details of an open cockpit.
Separate the seat from the print supports, wash it and degrease it. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint it in a dark base, set the straps and handles apart in contrast and bring out the details with a fine wash. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
